From the moment you explore the Inn and our 15-acre property, you are surrounded by a delightful array of on-site amenities to tempt your every mood.

In a secluded setting of vintage summer estates, the Old Fort Inn Bed and Breakfast is hidden away on fifteen landscaped and wooded acres, offering a luxurious country bed and breakfast inn lodgings.  The main lodge in is the heart of the Old Fort Inn Bed and Breakfast.

The guests enter through a reception area and Shelia Aldrich's charming antiques shop, full of whimsical treasures.  Walk through our antique shop filled with items from near and far including decoys, primitives, china, cut glass, advertising items and many decorator accessories. Choose a cast iron doorstop, child’s wagon, a piece of handmade lace as a souvenir of your stay in Kennebunkport, Maine.  Beyond is the large room with enormous beams, weathered pine walls and a massive brick fireplace. 

That's where Shelia and husband David, transplanted Californians, set out a scrumptious buffet breakfast each morning.  Guests help themselves to an assortment of fresh fruits, berries, pastries, and a variety of other mouth-watering goodies. -- croissants, sweet breads, quiche, scones, waffles, granola, jams, and Sunday's sticky buns.  Guests have a choice of enjoying their breakfast in the lodge area, on the enclosed (heated) porch, or outside around the large fresh water swimming pool.  In the afternoon, refreshments are served on the enclosed porch.

The main lodge and brick carriage houses contain 14 spacious and luxurious guest rooms and 2 suites.  The elegant antique appointed guest rooms feature canopied or four-poster beds with down comforters, fine fabrics and beautiful wall coverings.  All rooms are air-conditioned with private baths outfitted with Aveda amenities and heated tile floors (some baths feature Jacuzzis), private phones, hidden cable television, high speed wireless internet access, and hidden deluxe wet bars.  Several rooms have gas fireplaces.  In the hall, Sheila's artfully framed shadow boxes containing Victorian outfits are conversation pieces.
